How much will it cost for my weekly ironing to be done?
Our ironing services are extremely affordable. We charge £13 per hour*, chargeable in half hour blocks.
*Minimum charge £20.
Do I have to have regular collections?
Not at all. We offer both regular and irregular collections. Pre and/or post holiday collections are always a popular option.
How many items can be ironed in an hour?
This varies depending on the nature of the ironing load. We have provided some examples on our prices page to give you an idea of typical load. Click here to see our example ironing loads.
What about delivery and collection?
If you live within a 5 mile radius of Hartshill, Nuneaton, collection and delivery are included. Click here to view a map of our coverage area. We also collect and deliver to other areas, including Whitestone, Bedworth, and Bulkington to name a few. We therefore invite you to contact us to see if we can help you.
Are clothes folded or hung?
This is down to personal preference. Generally speaking, our clients choose to have shirts, blouses, skirts and trousers etc hung, with T shirts and other smaller items folded. It must be remembered, however, that the time taken to fold a shirt adds to the overall cost of the ironing load and also introduces unwanted creases.
What about hangers?
In order to keep our costs down, we request that you supply your own hangers with each load.
Do you supply protective garment covers?
We are an environmentally friendly company and as such, to reduce unnecessary waste, we do not use protective garment covers as standard. However, many of our business clients prefer their shirts to be covered and we therefore offer this as an optional extra, subject to a small charge. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
How can I keep the cost down?
Clothes that are over-dried take longer to iron, as indeed do clothes that, once dry, are randomly dumped in a bag. Try not over-dry clothes and take the time to pack the ironing neatly, preferably with the clothes the right way out. This will reduce the overall time spent on your ironing, and the subsequent cost chargeable for your load.
How can I pay?
You can pay in cash or by personal cheque supported by a valid cheque guarantee card. Regular clients may set up direct payment via online banking. Other payment options are available; please contact us to discuss.
